How To Make The Perfect Aloo Porota Recipe
Ingredients:
Roti
1 ½ cups ap flour
½ tsp salt
1 tsp cooking oil
½ cup + 2 tbsp water
Aloo
2 medium boiled potato
½ tsp cumin seeds
¼ tsp red chili
1 tsp coriander
½ tsp amchur powder
2 green chilies
2 tbsp fresh coriander
½ tsp salt
½ tsp mustard oil
Instructions:
1. Mix ap flour with salt, cooking oil and room temperature water
2. Knead dough for 8 minutes
3. Coat dough with cooking oil
4. Cover with a towel and let it rest for 15 minutes
5. Prepare filling by mixing in mashed potato with cumin seeds, red chili, coriander, amchur powder, green chilies, fresh coriander, salt, and mustard oil
6. Roll out dough and place aloo and seal
7. Rest the dough for 5 minutes before re-rolling
8. Cook aloo porota in pan with cooking oil
9. Allow the porota to fluff up before removing it from the heat
10. Ready to enjoy!
