hi, am wondering if non Africans, meaning other ethnicity or race can wear this hat too? or is it tied to a religious practice that is offensive for other race to wear?

I cannot speak for Africans everywhere but from my perspective it’s a beautiful hat and you can wear it as long as you know the history behind it and respect wearing it. The hat was worn by married women to signify their marital status. Now it is worn as part of the traditional Zulu dress ensembles during ceremonial events!
