@HikuroMishiro

I believe it stores it as a finished video, but I haven't personally tried it out yet. If you would prefer to do the individual images approach (which I've read most prefer) you'll have to use an app or something as an intervalometer.

Hi. Thanks for useful video about M50 Timelapse. I wanted to shot Northern Lights timelapse and encouraged an issue with M50 that it’s not possible to set longer exposure that 1/30 in timelapse mode, but I need at least 2’’. Also there is no options in series shooting of M50 which allow to take long series of pictures (and join them in video on post). Series shooting is limited to 10 pictures. Maybe I couldn’t find right solution for my case with this camera?

@@eidnamusic if you are shooting a video, the time limit is still 30 minutes. There are auto turn off settings in the camera, I do not remember exactly where, but go through the menu and each setting. There are videos for it as well. Turn the auto sleep off. Turn the camera not in use option off. If you are taking time lapse photos, the camera will turn itself off, the LCD will be off, but it will be taking photos, don't worry about that. Hope that helps a bit, sorry couldn't tell you specifically where the options are, but there are people who have videos dedicated to the menu options and what they do. I watched a few of those.

Here's a really dumb question....i'm thinking of getting an M50, and was looking at battery life, its rated around 235 shots, how are long timelapses possible with over 600 shots?
@mattisulanto
4 жыл бұрын
The battery rating is done by CIPA standards, which you can find if you google it. How many shots you actually get, depends on many things, like how fast you shoot, what's the ambient temperature, do you use flash, how long are the exposures etc. If you have a really long time lapse, you'll need an external power source, which you'll find if you google.
