I’ve made it today it’s in the fridge as we speak ! Hasn’t even been 20 minutes and we’re all patiently waiting until tomorrow! I’ve tried a bit of the cream and it was already amazing! It's okay but the egg Mascarpone is not fluffy enough, I do white eggs + heavy milk. This will be top tiramisu. And don't do to much egg yolk, I do maximum 2 yolks.

Beautiful recipe, I do mine almost the same except that I (leave the eggs raw as you said) and that I make two separate creams, one with the yolks and one with the whites and then I cover the first layer of savoiardi with the yolk cream and the second with the egg white so the top looks very fluffy as well

@@vincenzosplate definitely! It’s my son’s favorite. He requests it for his birthday cake and other celebrations. I told him we can have it even without a holiday and he got so excited! My mother is coming soon to visit and she’s an excellent baker, so I’d like to send her this so she can make it for him (and hopefully with him) while she’s here. Funny. I had a discussion with the restaurant owner here in Kuala Lumpur at Pizza Dihyang. It is a pizzeria where the authentic Neapolitan pizza is made. The owner, local Malaysian from Sarawak state in Borneo, went to Napoli and followed the courses and certifications from the Associazione Pizzaiuoli Napoletani, Vera Pizza Napoletani. Fabulous pizzas. Then for dessert he made a ‘authentic’ tiramisu in his words. No alcohol. That’s where the discussion started. He sated that the tiramisu from Napels doesn’t contain alcoholic liquor. We had a friendly discussion and agreed to disagree: tiramisu in my world needs Marsala or a nice Frangelico or Amaretto. But I do believe your version, Vincenzo, is fantastic as well. ❤😊

I like mine to literally bleed cold coffee when I spoon it so the 3 second dunk is not enough for me. It may not be "cannon" but I usually end up just pouring the remaining coffee on the biscuits.

Ciao Vincenzo from Sydney Australia. I don't use savoiardi but instead I make my own Pan di Spagna and cut it into rather thick strips. Then I lay them down dry and then wet them with the coffee mixture. Very tasty. Cari Saluti Claudio 😊

You have to notify people who are watching your channel. 1. Your lover will not want to cook herself anymore after she taste these Italian foods. 2. If you start make Italian dessert, you will getting weight cause you cannot stop eat 3. But above all your wife will love you more and more. It is from my experience😂😂😂. Even now I am baking Lemon cookie and my wife and daughter are waiting in the kitchen.

Tried it. The egg yolks weren't as creamy and the egg whites were too puffy, since I whisked them with a hand. Good exercise but next time only with a mixer. Also the biscuits on the bottom layer gets too soggy for my taste with 3 seconds. I added some Amaretto to the coffee for more taste. In my recipe there were only 30g of sugar but with almond chocolade pieces. Ricotta chocolade cake is next.

Thanks for trying the recipe! Hand-whisking the eggs can be a bit of a workout, but glad you enjoyed it. For a creamier consistency, a mixer can definitely help. Love the addition of Amaretto to the coffee, and can't wait to see how your ricotta chocolate cake turns out! 🤗👨🍳

In Canada, I'm not worried about raw eggs that are commercially sold, as by law they come prewashed, and pasteurized when you buy them at a grocery store. But because of the washing process is the reason you must store eggs in the fridge here, (i dont remember exactly what it does to the shells, however fridge storage is a must) Hope everyone is taking care.

Well, if you put this cream into freezer for few hours, you got home made icecream. You can mix earlier with some fruits, for example wild black berries, gently mix not so hard and it is... Yummy. Please don't hang me for this non-tiramisu short recipe. In the other recipe, this cream with fruits is awesome for pancakes too 🙂 Btw, I love tiramisu 🙂👍🏻
