I would really appreciate to see a personalized OHL hockey arena that you’ll find sometimes in cities that size in Ontario. City is looking great but I think you’re missing that aspect. As for the suburbs, a thing that Ontario and Quebec suburbs have are curvy streets that go kinda everywhere with bigger roads in between. Check Vaudreuil-Dorion, suburb of Montréal, as an example.

This build is turning out so nice and cozy, the Tim Hortons adds a lot. Really like what you did with the sidewalks for the suburbs. In my experience, adding custom backyards to suburbs seems to help a lot for realism so maybe you could experiment with that if you want.

Watching from the break room at work in Finland! As for the hockey arena. You could use a warehouse as the arena building and then detail it up. I don't know how it is in Canada, but here in Finland in the small town of Söderkulla (where said break room is located lol) the local hockey arena isn't really anything more than a warehouse building on the outside. On 1 January 1970, the City of Thunder Bay was formed through the merger of the cities of Fort William, Port Arthur, and the geographic townships of Neebing and McIntyre. It's name was the result of a referendum held previously on 23 June 1969, to determine the new name of the amalgamated Fort William and Port Arthur. Officials debated over the names to be put on the ballot, taking suggestions from residents including "Lakehead" and "The Lakehead". Because the vote split between the two similar names, "Thunder Bay" prevailed with a narrow plurality. The final tally was "Thunder Bay" with 15,870, "Lakehead" with 15,302, and "The Lakehead" with 8,377.

I’m in Alabama now, but I grew up in upstate NY so I spent a lot of time in Quebec and eastern Ontario growing up (hence my earlier idea of cross border homogenization). If I could make another suggestion: I can’t speak to western Ontario, but I know in my neck of the woods, one thing you see a lot in suburbs and exurbs are a mixture of old and new. I grew up in the mountains, and while you see a lot of newer buildings, you see a lot of older buildings, which you did in the city center, but as you build outwards, there were people who lived there for a long time when it wasn’t part of the sprawl. While some, if not most, houses were razed in the process, a few weren’t. So it’s not uncommon to see an old, possibly out of modern code, house mixed in with newer houses. It’s also super common where I grew up to see sprawling estates that have either been maintained or subdivided into separate parcels (e.g. Adirondack Great Camps)

Loving the way the road surfaces look, cracks etc. Can you tell me where you get them from? Checked Para mods but couldn't see them on there
