There are no rules, try things and keep whatever you vibe with! At the same time though, remember subtlety is key, think about whether a sound actually adds something to the track

How would this be any different than just adding a crash cymbal in terms of adding impact to a drop? The SOUND (modulated white noise) sure *sounds* different than a cymbal.... and it's fun to use all sorts of sounds/samples AS a cymbal crash, but in principle, how is this different than a crash with regard to making a drop hit harder??

How can i do that in FL studio? Or inside Serum
@onaucc9899
5 жыл бұрын
-A QUIET LIFE- it's pretty much a simple Sine compression bass. In serum select Sine wave, some random noise, put distortion on, probably Diode 1 or 2, increase drive, remove lows with eq. Maybe add some compression before eq.
@artfxdnb
5 жыл бұрын
Like Onauc C said, sine wave sub + a noise layer, run those together through some distortion and EQ afterwards to remove the lows so it doesn't interfere with your sub bass and kick drum.
