I read The Garden Jungle over the summer, its really inspiring. My students in Maine have a Bee Friendly club that works to advocate for native pollinators and environmental action. Thanks for your funny, interesting books and videos.

I'm moving next month. My compost heap was just getting good (after reading The Garden Jungle I figured that it needed more paper and it worked!) Thanx! Love the lupine plants in the background. It fun to see how bumblebees just pry open the flowers to get into them.

That is no rocket science indeed :-). I have used pallets as well in the past just like you are showing, works great. You just have to be patient, right up my alley :-) Thanks for another great video!

I wondered what you garden looked like after reading your books. Looks lovely. I'm jealous. The sound however is a bit sketchy, making it a bit hard to follow for non native speakers. Maybe something like a wireless microphone could help.

I have plenty of rhinoceros beetles, they love wood chips.

Sometimes I find I enjoy composting more than actually growing veg! I admit I'm probably in a minority.

A word about woodlice. I like them, i keep them as a terrarium pet, got 6 species. In a gardening chat got in a fight with a lady who insisted they are a terrible pest. That they eat strawberry, greens, cucumbers, she've shown photos, yeah, there were a lot of them. Im still not convinced they could ve eaten those big holes in a cucumber though, i bet they were finishing slug's work. Her set of circumstances: she mulches everything with grass clippings, tree clippings, and our climate is very humid,

Interesting, they do eat tiny seedlings a bit but I never really have any problems with them.
