A quick and easy tutorial on making your own edible glue.
Method: Place 15g of boiling water into a small bowl and leave to cool until it is still slightly warm. Add 1/8th teaspoon of CMC powder (Tylose) into the water and stir. Keep stirring to break up the white lumps then leave for a short while to allow the CMC to dissolve. Keep coming back and stirring the mixture every now and then until all of the lumps have dissolved and the glue has thickened.
When not in use, cover with cling film or place in a plastic tub with a lid and place in the fridge. This will keep for 1-2 weeks in the fridge.
