Just be respectul. It always worked for me. I usually don’t answer questions or ask any, and I’m nowhere near a teachers pet, but I always make sure to greet teachers, ask them how are they and all that stuff, I try to look at every teacher as someone equal to me, not superior nor inferior, but equal. Some of them find this strange, some don’t really like it, but all of them respect me.
@LunaCannone
2 жыл бұрын
Exactly. While I do raise my hand a lot and email teachers about questions, I am respectful too. My math class had a new teacher this year bc my original teacher had a kid and needed to take care of him, but ever since that new teacher took place my class just completely ignored his teaching, did not give him any respect, and my classmates just chatted while the teacher was trying to teach. While some of the class tried to make them stop (including me), most of the class just rudely ignored him. Sadly, it wasn't just my class and most classes were doing the same thing to him. But the most ironic thing was that at the end of the year, the teacher left bc he was only teaching that year so the original teacher could take care of her kid, and all the classes just kept on saying "Wait Mr. ________ don't leave!". Honestly, to me it just looked like they wanted to have him in the school just so they could take advantage of them again. Ik by now your already bored with this comment lol but I just thought I could relate to this since most of my class did not treat the teacher with respect.

Do all the works they gave you and try putting in some effort, be well spoken they love it. And finally pay attention in class and ask questions and in math class try to ask them if you can do the math in different ways, that way u can be their favorite. Ps. what I did was study way ahead. In 4-6 grade I studied complex nuclear physics and science. I also memorized the periodic table by the end of my 1st semester in 7th grade. (Yeah I never did anything but study really). By 8th grade, I could be multiple years ahead and still get straight A+'s (Just kidding we didn't do A+ but it was mostly 98% on my grades so it would have been an A+. I was way ahead but that was just science. In math, I studied Complex Algebra in 4th grade. I studied Calculus in 6th grade. Now I'm on track to become what I've wanted to be since I was extremely young. But during all of this, I was getting like 30% in literature. So just remember, focus on what your good at. Don't think about what your bad at. Focus on what you want to do and what your good at and your hard work will always pay off.

this is literally what i do and it DEFINITELY works + i get away with my absences because they know i participate in class and wouldn't think i skipped their class since im tardy (in most cases i do) AND then knowing you will greatly help in your grades especially during follow ups since if your grade computation is lower than they expected, they would definitely exert at least some effort in tracing your scores "why did *anon* only got this grade when he always participated during discussions" blah blah. If you do not want to be interactive, the only way you can thrive is excelling every activities and project (if you wanna be that mysterious student but personally i wouldn't recommend it, as in most cases if they somehow manage to miss something on your grade computation, they wouldn't bother because they do not recognize you and won't give you the benefit of doubt"

It’s easy to get on a teacher’s good side 1. Do your work 2. Pay attention 3. Follow the rules 4. And most importantly be respectful I don’t know why people find it so hard

I found a sweet point with my teachers, since I'm a teacher and a student i usually like to talk with teacher about the job, stuff they do etcetera after class, just fool around and joke around or talk about the subject. This usually makes them think you care about the subject, which I actually do cuz I like most of my subjects.

The teachers that like me the most are the teachers I say good morning to. Simply acknowledging them at the beginning of a class makes a huge difference as they have hundreds of students a day, but someone actually acknowledging them instead of just walking past stands out

This is actually pretty accurate, we have a whole school assembly every Friday and I got a “shoutout” as they call em, for emailing my teacher about a test lmao

As someone who got along with a lot of teachers, go in to class early if you can. (Especially in math!!) It shows teachers where you are, you can get help with work, and the teacher gets to know you more outside of class.
