Hi Praveen, thanks for your feedback. I can get carried away with the music sometimes, I'll try to be more conscious about it in the future. Hi Nelson. I find it hard to find one reference that gives good training for the overall memory competitions. I love your videos, it's clear cut straight to the point, simple, good basics. Are you working on any books or training series videos? There are no local training where I live and using youtube, i have to reference many different trainers on here. You seem to be the best in explaining the basics towards memory training geared towards competition.

I need to memorize a series of playing cards in order, by number, forward and backward. I also need to know which card is at each position. So, if someone says 7D, I need to know that it is 3rd. I also need to know that the 51st card is AH, etc. Your videos are helping, but I certainly could use any pointers I can get. Thanks!!

My technique: 1. Memorize one phrase or line. 2. repeat that line a few times and then read it independently 3. Move on to your next line after perfecting the other one. 4. Read over a few times. 5. Read the text from the beginning until the end of your new phrase. Repeat this method as many times you need

I give up I have less than 24 hours to memorize this: Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; 2 And walk in love, just as Christ also loved [a]you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God [b]as a fragrant aroma. 3 But sexual immorality [c]or any impurity or greed must not even be mentioned among you, as is proper among [d]saints; 4 and there must be no filthiness [e]or foolish talk, or vulgar joking, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. 5 For this you know with certainty, that no sexually immoral or [f]impure or greedy person, which [g]amounts to an idolater, has an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. 6 See that no one deceives you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the [h]sons of disobedience. 7 Therefore do not become partners with them;

I'm sick and tired of hearing about the Russians. We skate with them 10 times and they beat us 9. But NOT TONIGHT! FREEDOM!" And scene. from "Dr. Strange, The Musical."
