I don’t know if it’s a more popular app in the uk but “line learner” is what I’ve been using and it’s been great. You can record it all in, line by line, and then you can drop out whichever role you need to - this was particularly useful when I was in a play and covered 5 roles because I could chop and change between the parts. It was great! Rehearsal pro looks great though! Might still check it out! 👌🏻 thanks for another 🔥 video!

😕 That makes me sad your parents won’t let you take a class. You’re doing the right thing by doing what you can on your own (that’s gonna make the difference in whatever you do). I’m happy this helps!

Great advices! At the end of the day, it all comes to "how much you want it". If you are focused you can do the work, like on all things in life. Stay safe and healthy and keep making videos!

As soon as you get your script start memorizing. I usually start at the beginning of the play, and then add more lines as I start to memorize them. You don't have to spend insane amounts of time on it, as long as you do it repeatedly (I usually run lines with my mom 10-15 minutes a day). Also make sure to break down longer lines and monologues and memorize it in parts. I've found that helps me. You can also have little tricks, like finding words that sound the same.

Line Learner is great and pretty cheap! You can adjust the speed of the lines, choose if you do or don’t want your own lines played after/before you say them, etc.

I discovered your channel a couple of days ago and I'm really enjoying it, thanks for making this kind of content so real, I'm 22 years old and I'm in my second year of acting career , I live in Mexico city. Keep advising young aspiring actors!❤️

Hey I'm really getting into acting and I love your videos and I would really appreciate when you would do a video all about 'things an actor needs to be successfull' because idk if i am really qualified to be an actor. For example can I be a successfull actor without kissing anyone or other really intimate scenes, thanks and keep going, I love ur videos!

I do number three to run lines, most of the time if I'm in a show, I just learn as we go. Like today, I was at acting camp and I learned a one-page scene the first time we read through it. My partners were VERY confused 😂

That’s a great idea. Now that my channel is a bit more established I feel more comfortable branching out (it’s usually helpful to stay within your niche). I’ll keep this in mind though.

I read a story about Vincent Denofrio. He had a nervous breakdown because he was trying to learn lines for one episode, plus the lines for the next episode, plus all the sleep he lost from all the shooting. STRESS.

These seem kinda obvious, but for memorizing monologues break it down. Memorize it sentence by sentence. Some other helpful tips for memorizing lines are just read the line many times in a row to help with the muscle memorization, and find little tricks to help you out. For example, " FOUR score and seven years ago our fathers brought FORth ..."

Hi man how are you? I was just wondering if you could make a video, and just discuss about acting school, for example what kind of degree do you must have to start acting and what do they ask or do for the first time, and what do they do at the end and also where are good places to go and study acting - I would appreciate so much, and I’m a huge fan by the way, thank you so much, love you dude :)

Hey man, Can you make a video on how to make a monologue. Because that would be a great thing in one's way to become an actor.First thing would be a monologue that you send to an agent. If thats not correct, there will be no hope. Can you make one!!?

Honestly I'm so nervous to try to act and get into film. I love the industry and everything about it. Even if I only ever got to be a assistant director or small show actor I would be so happy. However due to personal reasons I quit acting in highschool. Now I'm a junior and havent been acting on a stage since eighth grade. I'm just scared I've waited to long to get back into it and to make up my mind on my future. Any advice would be appreciated
