Best mixing guitar video I have ever seen, simple, presice, efficient, makes so many other "mixing" YT videos look like jokes.

Fantastic! When Mike said about cuting the unwanted frequencies, it is just to «low» them of a few dbs?

This is awesome and very helpful. I guess that I shouldn't even think recording an acoustic guitar without a mic by using just the guitar pick up and plugging my cable in my audio interface? Your thoughts?

that is always an option - and especially useful if you have a lot of noise around etc. You can still apply the same principles here to get the best sound from doing that also. But... you will get a much nicer sounding result in most cases using a mic.

@@davidshanhun thanks. I know you use TC Helicon VoiceLive 3 for live performance. Is it something recommended to record guitar and voice using the VL3X ( because of the nice sounf of a patch) into the daw? Or you recommend to record straight in the DAW and try to recreate the sound using EQ, reverb, delay, etc in the DAW.

@@AKWANMUSIC I would recommend recording directly into the DAW and then create your sound as you mentioned.
