Worked! Thank you for identifying the speaker wires! I stripped a bit of insulation from the black and red wires (first unplugged battery power source (the numerous cluster of wires). I used a 3-wire stereo cable which was super-fine, with a female stereo-port so i could plug in a variety of externally powered speakers. Had to burn off insulation on the stereo cable with a lighter (green and red colored insulation), and clean the oxide with a clean rag/fingernails. The uncoated stereo is ground and isn't used.) Carefully soldered the stereo wires to the half-stripped black and red. I don't think the poles matter. I did red-red and green-black. Add some electrical tape for some extra wire-support. Done! With some external speakers, I can now hear sensors alerts in my warehouse.

Thanks for the suggestion. What is the power source for the speaker? It was unclear to me what was being soldered? And does the base station cover still fit after the modification. Thanks

Portable speaker come with usb charger so you can plugin power at all the time for the speaker power. Cover still can put back as you pull the wire through the gap under original speaker then solder the portable speaker wire to the back of connector show in video. It depends where you put the portable speaker, you will need longer wire or shorter wire. Thanks!

This is exactly what I need to do . Thanks for the idea. Can you provide more detail on how you actually made the connection? Did you splice into the wire or connect the wires at the plastic plug? Did you have to solder it or was electrical tape enough? Thanks!

This is a video about how to find the speaker jack wires, nothing else. Why bother? the only tough part is connecting the wires or soldering them and nothing about that is shown.
