Hello, I am currently making an Exhaust Manifold for my formula student car. I am currently have difficulties finding an initial location for the collector pipe, I am using a 4-2-1 exhaust configuration and I have worked out that my primary length should be 314.40mm and secondary length of 131.60mm. However, I have noticed that your pipe length is 1157.67mm which is very very long. What would your advice for my case ? Thank you very much Martin

Hello Martin, I know your comment was 2 years ago but I have to do exactly the same thing, design an exhaust manifold for my university's formula student car. We are using an R6 engine. How did you exactly work out the exhaust configuration and the primary length you used? I would appreciate every bit of help and I hope you did well. Kind Regards, Del

why 4 exhaust? you need to consider weight and cost? one ass should be enough for shitting out

Looks like 2013 won't let you set up the equations like in this tutorial. Sigh.
