I had to dock stern to in Mediterranean Spain, with gusty 4bft wind to lee shore (wind blowing at a 30° angle at my bow), single prop 44ft yacht. After getting close to the quay, the marinero was given the windward stern rope, but he didn't fix it, so we couldn't secure the boat. To make matters worse, a drifting rope got in the prop, shutting off the engine. We drifted sideways along the quay, luckily there was no boat on our lee side. In the end, the damage was negligible, but lesson learned: try to prevent docking in strong onshore winds, and ensure the helper on the quay understands English and knows what to do (we said 'pull' and he tossed the rope!). Great explanation in the video, it's nice to see how smooth you're docking!

Dear editor. When you run a translation over the original audio, you turn off the original audio.

No, not really. This works perfectly, and seen it many time done like this.
