Thanks for this video. I'm highly interested in getting an Arai helmet as a replacement for my SHoei GT Air. However, after looking into them, I'm really confused on which one to get. Between the QV Pro, Chaser X and Profile V, which one would you recommend after using a GT Air? I guess the most obvious is the QV pro, but considering you can attach the Shade system on all of them, the decision gets difficult again. I ride a MT07, if that is a factor.

with regard to "story telling" and video i find it a huge annoying ball ache that every single youtuber feels the need to "storyboard" their videos to the point where theyre all padded out in teh same predictable manner (wordy intro / theme & intro music / secondary intro with sales pitch for patreon or product / finally into listing of subjects / eventually actually talking about the subjects in detail / dragging out the subjects in an unnatural life draining way / then the inevitable "well that about does it folks" outro with yet further prompting to give them money for no reason). ill be honest with you, it does my fkin head in. especially when all your searching for is information about a subject. most videos now are 80 percent padding.

Hi Yammie! I usually never comment on youtube, but felt like I need to right now. I've been watching your content for a good while. Two months ago I decided to go all in on the bikelife, but the licence price in Norway is demotivating, so I bought myself five 50cc mopeds to flip (Rieju RS2, 2 Yamaha TZR's, 1 ATV and a Derbi GPR). I've now sold three of them with a good cunk of profit. I only have a car licence, but on friday I will start my journey on the license. Schedueled for the A2 theory exam in the morning, followed by my first driving lession on a CB500F. You've introduced me to this and I want to thank you for your content and motivation:) keep up!

At 4:20 to 4:30 your theory about the audio from the Tascam sounding better than the GoPro is technically incorrect. Yes the Lavalier microphone plugged into the Tascam sounds better but it isn't due to the Tascam unit itself. It also isn't the microphone you are speaking into. It is in fact the signal to noise ratio you are hearing. While your recording environment was somewhat quiet, unless you are in a sound stage there is always room tone or room noise that becomes your noise floor. In your case here it was pretty quiet but imagine you had an HVAC system running in the background and it was noticeably louder than the room tone you had here. If you are behind the bike but recording to your GoPro's onboard microphone ten feet away, your voice might be at the same level as the HVAC noise and you would have a poor 1:1 signal to noise ration. Again, signal is your voice, everything you don't want to record is noise. Now move the microphone (doesn't matter whether it is the GoPro or a microphone connected to your Tascam) closer to your mouth. The noise level will stay the same but your voice will record much louder. If your voice is now three times as loud as the background noise you have a signal to noise ratio of 3:1. So while you are correct in the Tascam sounding better it is because you are physically closer to it. Nobody seems to care about the technical theory but since you put out the effort to make this video I wanted to pass along the technical reason for why your audio sounded better with the Tascam. I thought you might appreciate this as you do record clean audio.

I bought the purple panda to use inside my helmet and I cannot for the life of me get the audio to stop Peaking (makes pops) when I'm up around 65+ mph. I've tried multiple positions with the deadcat and it just picks up too much wind somehow. Even when fully tucked into my cheekpad. I recently cut the buds off a pair of old Apple Headphones and put the mic portion in my cheek pad..and Wala...the audio is 10x better than the purple panda...its insane the difference it made. Im working on making a video about it for my channel. I had really high hoped for the purple panda but on my Hero 8 it just peaks over and over...

In case you don’t want to commit to gluing a mount onto your helmet, there is a chin bar mount you can find on Amazon where it straps on and can be used on virtually any full face. The Pros: Can adhere to any chin bar size and shape while being removable when not needed. The Cons: Can’t close you visor down all the way (but that’s fine to me to crack open fresh air). Check out my motorcycle’s Instagram where I have pictures of it @Honda.Rebel.300 or my main for Instagram stories showing my view @Thursdaaay
