Video also serves as another test ... using the BP40 again but changed settings and didn't alter it in post, so that's how it gets recorded. How does that sound for you? Talking about mouse pads. Would love to see you try the Xtrfy Heaton. Very low friction plastic pad. Since the trend is having low weight mice where you need less force to move, I argue that having low resistance pads can also be an advantage. Especially with small mouse movements. I feel that on my Heaton the mouse isn't "sticky" when not in motion. The force to start a motion where there is friction involved is always higher than the force once the object is in motion and that force difference feels much smaller on good plastic pads.

Hi I liked the vid! Just wondering of getting the razer bungee you mentioned for my razer viper mouse because the cord keeps getting snagged on my mouse mat stitching. Do you think a mouse bungee is worth it?
@stevensavage2684
3 жыл бұрын
It's a bit late, but figured I'd reply to you just in case you were still wondering. I'd recommend it, because even with speed flex cables or para cord cables, there will still be a bit of drag without one, which increases the perceivable weight. This would create constant situations where the force needed to move the mouse will alter your aim. Mouse bungees dramatically reduce, but don't totally eliminate it. Yet, bungees are totally worth it for anyone using a corded mouse, especially light weight mice, as the drag would be even more noticeable.

Loop your mouse cable around a fitting spot of your monitor stand and leave enough slack for your mouse moving needs. Better than a bungee (elevates your cable higher) and is one less thing eating space on your desk. Or just tape your mouse wire to the back of your monitor, that works too. In conjunction with the cable tie mod you can say good bye to cable drag. Bungee is a unnecessarily complicated solution to a simple problem.

Cables like the current Zowie Cables or old Logitech Cables always bothered the ever living crap out of me. As soon as i started paracording my mice though, never even wasted a single thought about the cable again, never ever bothered me whatsoever. Bungees always did though. When i do a really big flick, almost across the pad, bungees add 1 Million times the drag any paracord could potentially ever had in the first place. Hate these things and as i've said, with paracords i don't even have to think about getting a bungee anyway.
