i would have said "sorry, could you repeat please' some times, specially to the girl at tim Hortons. I could understand the end of the sentence where she said you should try another kind of donut but the beginning was really hard! Thank you so much for your great work! it helps tremendously! i will never forget this lesson, the cashier pronounces faster and weak in her voice, that's real life English, is the one we have to face with native speaker. here, Bob make it easy for us that's why bob is one of the beast professors, in the web, he is conscious of our weaknesses when we are listening or speaking your communication skills are amazing, obviously i know that it is your native tongue, But i can't stoo feeling surprised and at the same time i envy you, because it is very difficult for me pronounce some of all those words or sentences, my tongue is a knot

Such a useful lesson! Thanks Bob❤ btw, I find that when checking out in the grocery store, the cashier might ask how would I like to pay for my items. If I say 'debit', the staff replied to me with 'on card'? I was wondering why don't use 'by' or 'with' instead? Thanks for your help!

It can be tricky. The sound isn't good in a drive-thru ever. It is probably easier for me because hearing many different accents is quite normal in Canada. We are a country of great diversity! 😎🍔🍟

I was working for Domino's and one day when I was taking the order over the phone, the person on the other side said Could you please hand over the phone to someone who speaks proper English😢. I was shocked to the core. I am a graduate and have worked more than a decade in IT ,have had conversations with people from so many other countries over online meetings.. That person just put me down so easily for not understanding my accent. We should accept the difference..❤
