Yeah it should work. I don't see why it wouldn't. Just make sure you use a fuse and the correct gauge of wire and you should be alright. I would do more research on it and get another opinion before doing it being its a car and not a ATV. Hope this helped!

So the negative runs straight to the battery the the rest is done on the positive wires??

That's one way to do it. On my quad, (honda rancher" i just hooked one wire to the temperature sensor wire, ran it through a switch, and hooked the other end to a ground. That way, when you turn the switch on, it grounds out the switch and makes the fan come on. However, if your switch is bad, I guess you can't do that.

Would this same process be able to work with a cars fan? I blew my relay and I'm not trying to buy a new one ya know
