INGREDIENTS
Oxtails
Marinade
2 lbs oxtails
2 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
½ tsp cayenne
2 tsp honey
¼ cup diced celery
¼ cup diced carrot
¼ cup diced onion
1 tbls fresh thyme
2 tsp freshly grated ginger
2 cloves freshly grated garlic
1 tbls yellow mustard
1 tbls balsamic vinegar
Broth
1 cup beef broth
16 oz ginger ale
½ cup orange juice
2 cloves garlic
¼ cup diced celery
¼ cup diced carrot
¼ cup diced onion
INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a large bowl, mix all marinade ingredients to the oxtails, and sit at least 4hrs or overnight
2. Once marinated, seer in a hot pan until browned on each side (about 3 mins)
3. Turn your slow cooker to low, and add all broth ingredients then add the seeded oxtail
4. Let them cook for 4 hours, or until tender
5. Serve with rice and cabbage
