My daughter has 2 Australian cattle dogs heelers. They are my granddogs and I love them very much. The male Dan is "blue" and Ruby is a "red" heeler. I want to paint them for her and your tutorial will help! Thanks and I like the comment someone made that you have a nice voice and also u get to it instead of me a bunch of words that are unnecessary.

Very instructive Kirk, including useful tip of feathering in both directions, on this beautiful painting. You have a pleasant, easy to listen to manner, and many thanks for sharing. Regards, Joe.

I just stumbled on your channel today and am going to enjoy watching more. Unlike you, I didn't know I could paint anything till I was 49. I have been a slow learner over that past 10-11 years, but enjoying both the process and the photography that opened up because of it. When I first started painting I felt like I was seeing textures, colors and light for the first time in my life! Lol. Thanks for the great videos! By the way, have you, by any chance, heard of or tried Rosemary & Co brushes? No, I don't own it. Just have the same first name! Lol. My hubby bought some for me, for painting fur, and boy, are they great! They're called "Comber" brushes. Not too badly priced either. Anyway, thought I'd toss that out there. You probably already have your favorites.......
