Re-paint of the F-86 Sabre 120mm EDF from HSDJetsUSA.com. This is the US Air Force Skyblazers livery paint scheme. The history of the Skyblazers aerobatic display team started in the beginning of 1949. The Skyblazers flew the F-86F Sabre from 1954 to 1956. In the video we repaint the HSD stock "Lady Luck" F-86 paint scheme to this colorful, vivid livery. Overall this was a very straightforward paint scheme project. Anyone can create this paint scheme for less than $25 worth of paint. We used jingbing 6mm masking tape (available from Amazon.com) and Yellow Frog Tape for masking off the different lines. The one acrylic Gunmetal airbrush color was thinned with Createx reducer at about 25%. The goal is to have a milk-like consistency. Stay tuned for a detailed video showing the weathering and rivet process to complete the scale look. We will also have the maiden video up soon. Feel free to check out our other painting and airbrush tutorial / walkthrough videos. Thanks for watching!
