I’m 50 years old and failed art way back in school. Hated it with a passion. About 6 months ago I started to paint acrylic on canvas. Self taught throuyBob Ross. Then I came across you and I attempted your waves and I am so glad that I did. Thanks to you Joe 👩🎨

Hello Joe, love your passion for sharing your creative mind. It encourages me to pursue my favorite body of nature and that is water effects. They are by far the hardest for me to bring to life in a painting. And I'm no where near of being an artist. By any chance do you have a video showing how storm waves are created in a painting. God bless my brother

Joe, I've watched this and other parts as well....so many times I can't count...there's something about your teaching, dialogue I cannot understand you....even in all your other lessons....not sure what it is. I watch channels in languages I don't understand on painting and understand them...can follow along and have great results and learn the techniques, but with you...I just can't....I thought is was me for a very long time...after watching this series 100s of times, then asked few other painters, and they too couldn't get it....2 to be exact....just giving feedback....I think you talk and get off track alot, and don't stay within a step by step approach, maybe because it's second nature to you...and you don't understand what it's like as a beginner to grasp the method, techniques....

Hi Joe, first of all I'd like to say thanks, I've watched all your videos about water and how to paint reflections, color theory and clouds, and it helped me immensely. But I'm having trouble with reflections in one of my illustrations, i don't fully understand what makes water that's directly under your feet reflect the sky and yourself sometimes, and sometimes it just reflects the ground or the deep blue. I've seen that in puddles it usually reflects everything and i try to think of it as a window, when you place a wall behind a window it reflects the light just like a mirror (correct me if I'm wrong). But then again this doesn't seem to happen all the time with water. So does this has something to do with the molecular composition of the water? Could the amount of salt have something to do with it? Thank you so much again and have a beautiful day
