I love this series of videos so much, they're really fun to watch and you get to learn a lot about how to use the different mediums too. I really appreciate the fact that you took time to make these vidoes, it's a great resource for Sennelier colours : ) Can't wait to get my first set of Sennelier watercolours and pastels :D

Liofa 😁Awesome I started with very cheap paints that children use and pencils from a cheap store. If you can get those...you can do anything! Please dont say you cant until you try and put effort into it!🎶I sold my first painting a few monthes ago and I am using professional paints and pencils. You CAN do it!

2:37 Details and photo realism. You can work loosely and expressionistic, you can also work details and extremely precise with watercolors, see realistic strawberry in watercolor by Anna Mason. It's the painters choice. :)

No, you most certainly do not need a real kolinsky, or any real hair brushes for that matter. There are plenty of perfectly good mimic brushes out there that perform just as well while requiring no animal cruelty in the making. If you are willing to spend on a synthetic brush what you would spend on a sable, you will have no problem finding comparable quality.

katrin.right but ive seen artist use the manufactured black and some mix a black ig it depends on the artist themselves. That goes for the white 2 some artist use white to make their colors opaque or pastel like but most dont use it. Its just artist preference

I wish I could afford these paints. Maybe someday. Over $200 for the 48 pan is too much for me ATM. Soon though. Im sure they will last me many paintings.

Why dont you get the 24 set , its more practical taking in the fact that having too many colours may be too intimidating to start with (at least for me ) and colour mixing i a great skill to have also i think it costs around 50-70 USD , im not sure cause i do not live in US

A true artist knows that you paint how YOU want. There are NO rules when it comes to paint. Look at all the great artist through the course of time they only have 1 thing in common they didn't follow the rules they painted in their style. Please don't impose rules on new artists
