No unfortunately. You'll only get to see if you passed or failed after hitting submit on the computer exam. Then in a few days you get your actual percentage. You won't ever find out what questions you got right or wrong, they won't provide that to you.

So when you register for the course you have 1 year to complete both exams, otherwise you have to pay to extend it for a year. You only get 1 extension, then if you don't complete it in time you have to re-register and pay for the course again (which is why I was in such a hurry to get both exams done ASAP, my extension was about to expire). Yes, you can study for exam 1, take the exam, then study for exam 2 and take that exam. I would actually recommend doing one at a time instead of studying both at the same time. It's easier to focus on studying this way, and less chance you'll feel overwhelmed by all the content. Good luck and let me know how it goes!

I would call them if you can, and then if the phone lines are crazy then email them. I'd ask to see if they can extend it because of the times we're living in. But I will just stress that I studied intensely for 2 and a half months and it was A LOT! Not to say you can't do it, but looking back, if I had to do it over again, I wouldn't put that much pressure on myself. Kicking myself a bit for not giving myself more time. Definitely learned to give myself more time for the future exams I'll be taking to become a CFP.

Great question! So I did two main things to get the content ingrained in my mind. While going through the textbook, I highlighted sentences or parts that were new to me or I felt significant. The simple act of highlighting and re-reading the part helped make it stick in my brain. Then, for any key term that was bolded, which also had a definition at the back of the book, I wrote out the term with definition on a flashcard. This helped me memorize the huge number of important terms. Then when a few days before the exam I could just go through all my flashcards to test my retention. One last thing, while reading the textbook, I also made sure that for every section I read, I truly understood what it was saying. Sometimes we can read a passage sort of mindlessly without letting it sink in. So I tried my best to read each paragraph or section, take a moment to consider "What did I just read? Do i understand what it's trying to teach me?" and then once I felt confident that I understood it, I would move onto the next section.

If you want to work in the finance industry, absolutely try to find employment first, then see if your employer will pay for you to do it. Not only would you save upwards of $1,500 (the course isn't cheap!), but to finish the course alone won't guarantee a job. Experience and getting your foot in the door is very important. I'm an odd case because I don't work in the financial industry in the traditional sense and have no plans to. The CSC was a way to broaden my knowledge, and now it's a stepping stone for me to become a CFP (but still, I plan on continuing to work self-employed after that).

Great question! So in terms of how the practice exam questions are constructed (the language they use and flow), I found them comparable to the real exam questions. But if you're asking, were there any similar questions on the real exam that appeared in the practice exam, the answer is no. And that's what lots of people on Reddit said too. I didn't find any duplication of questions (or similar questions worded differently). They were all different. This just means use the practice exams to find out what sections you're strong and weak at, but don't expect to see any of those practice exam questions on the real thing. Hope that helps!
