Awesome video! I was looking everywhere for info on how to do this. Your video saved my 5.3 PCM. I tried tuning with the PCM in my truck and it wouldn’t turn on. Found this video and was able to add the tune no problem after making the harness. Thanks again man! Liked and subscribed! Buying a shirt if available.

How did you wire the toggle???? did you wire grounds from the toggles to the black wires from the computer
@CatlocosGarage
2 жыл бұрын
I said how to do the power at 3:30. You can put all the ground and power to the power supply and eliminate the switch. I just wanted a fused setup. Then the toggle just wire ignition and key on. The switch had a ground for each and so does the power for the switch. Pretty sure I showed that in the vid step-by-step.

hey man gr8 vid thanks - im new to LS swaps and was in the jy today scouring - will this let you run a bare bones LS motor? As far as the harness and ecu goes - whats the base harness and ecu requirements to run the stock ecu in an older car? do I leave the non blue connector? theres a ton of stuff also going to the fuse box, do i pull it out or what?
@CatlocosGarage
3 жыл бұрын
No. This setup is just for flashing a pcm on a bench. i haven't filmed a full harness vid yet. www.lt1swap.com has a full tutorial on making a harness. The process is the same, but you're going to keep far more wires for your engine.

Hi.. Can I ask you something.. I want to do this without pining all pin out of plug end wiring only this wires can work.. The plug is cut from harness but I haven't other plug
@CatlocosGarage
2 жыл бұрын
This is only for a bench harness to flash your pcm. You need 2 pcm connectors and the obdII plug. The wires I showed is all you need to connect. I removed them for a clean build and avoid any type of wiring short from an exposed wire. I’m sure some people leave them. This harness won’t be used on my vehicle
