As summer comes to an end it's time to plan for a big quarter 4 finish. If your #raisingcapital summer is a slow time, but why not use whats left to think about how to make the last quarter huge, and the first quarter of 2025 defining.
What additional capital raising strategies do you have, or can consider? To access new capital you might also need a new market entry strategy, a plan and approach? But which market? And why?
As we ponder an indifferent summer, there are lots of things going on to contemplate. Government changes in the UK, the US elections unresolved and across Europe (the West) there's been a big swing towards a socialist agenda. Higher taxes, draconian rules of Do's and Don'ts, the continued attack on 'freedom of speech' - one has to remember the smart money has already left the building.
#UHNW and #FamilyOffice has already shifted their capital, operations - a big clue. But where?
The bigger question:
Is the WEST the right environment for your business, to support growth, to attract and retain talent. The right environment to attract and secure funding. Are your customers likely to be elsewhere?
Should you be considering moving your business, HQ, IP and operations to a new region and country - the UAE, Singapore, Switzerland for example.
It is also worth considering the views and opinions of your target market, target customers have already changed position, needs and requirements - given the shifting politics, tax and broader geopolitical melting pot of the western economies. Customers have made decisions, prepared themselves for what is coming and may themselves be making structural changes to their business operating models. 90% of the worlds fastest growing regions, countries and industries are in the east, Middle East, Africa and Malaysian and Indonesia.
You will need to create a new 'market entry strategy' for your products and services - clearly defining what impact you'll deliver for that region/country - its makes sense to attract new capital from that region.
