It gets harder the farther your legs are from your core, thats why it starts tucked and then gets farther throughout the progressions

Part of why I prefer weights over calisthenics: most calisthenics progressions are too big of a jump.

I’m strong and can’t even tuck planche. 🤦🏻♂️ Everyone makes it seem so easy to tuck planch and then advance tuck planche. But how?
@antoniomolina3612

Need good shoulder stabilizing muscles. Maybe your shoulders are strong but is your core strong? You should do a lot of planche leans, because unlike the others it’s the only one where you can adjust the difficulty based on how far you lean. And work your core
@4CUTTY1BARZ5

@@antoniomolina3612 thank you bro. I think I’m lacking core also. I never focused on core too much or set a day for core until a few months ago.

@@4CUTTY1BARZ5 Your main problem is lack of specificity! Core is nothing in tuck. You need shoulder strength in a specific angle and straight arm strength; You call yourself strong but there is lot of meaning being strong, if you can't tuck planche then you are not strong on a relative strength
@not_eldrick3490

@@lucas59190 I just wanna ask something. Straight arm strength is a different term used compared to the shoulders right? And also, does straight arm strength specifically refer to the elbows/biceps/forearms? or just the overall arm itself?
@lucas59190

@@not_eldrick3490 Shoulder strength refer (for me) to the general strength of your shoulder Straight arm strength (for me) refer more to the capacity of using your shoulder with the elbow fully lock. It’s more like a tool for transfering the pushing strength to the ground from the shoulder. (So for that you need to work on you biceps tendons capacity in order to protect the biceps and the elbow). Finally you should combine shoulder strength + straight arm in order to execute the shoulder flexion that allow you to planche Don’t know if my answer is clear
