I started planting garlic last year, harvested 106 bulbs last June and planted another 40 cloves this month in NW Georgia. I use wheat straw to cover because last year I had acorns sprouting from the leaves. Our farm and feed store has different varieties to try out so that was new for me. I dehydrate the scapes and use in everything. Thanks....great video.

Your eggs look beautiful and clean... Justin might need a tutorial 😉 Also, I think Jess at Roots and Refuge mentioned she was going to have some feeder pigs. I watch too much KZitem lol. Thanks for sharing, I think the organic garlic at the grocery store is way cheaper than "seed garlic". I don't even think there's a difference.

Hi Sow The Land Fam. It truly is amazing what you can grow from the grocery store. My wife grows garlic, romaine lettuce, ginger, pineapple and a ton of other things that were store bought. Most from the parts that people throw in the trash. We even have 4 or 5 papaya trees going from seed. Hopefully, they will survive the South Carolina winter. Hahahah... Cheers!! ~Mike and Ester~

You should never, ever feed chickens green, unripe tomatoes or the leaves of a tomato plant. Their unripe state contains the compound solanine which is harmful. - Googled
