Once you've got your tomato seedlings in the ground, add some mulch around the plant, leaving a gap between the mulch and the stem.
Cherry tomatoes are great bang for buck - a healthy, happy cherry tomato plant will give you so many tomatoes you won't know what to do with them!
They need at least 8 hours of sun though and they don't like too much fertiliser.
