Another great tune made pretty easy to learn! Thanks, Marty, love the way you present the songs and show us how to play a version we can manage without being advanced guitarists. What surprises me most is I want to learn almost every song you put on your channel - different from lots of other sites!

Did this one for my senior year talent show/fund raiser. Nobody knew the song, but I implied that the song made me think of my town and school. It was funny and a bit of 15 mins of fame for an 18 year old me. The other students thought it was hilarious and the teachers were not amused (at least outwardly. Being older now, I’d bet many of them thought it was funny too!). I’ve done it at open mics in my hometown since. It’s always good for a laugh. I’m sure I’m not remotely the first person to have done something like this or have this kind of story. For what it’s worth, I tend to play My Hometown at open mics in that town too. Gives the folks a warm fuzzy after jabbing them a bit with this one.
