You can take 2 or more hostages if are in that province 2 or more enemy?
@XShrike0

-My rulebook says it recommends using Teapot for the first game.- Ignore this, I remembered wrong and checked when I got back to my copy. You can apparently take an allie figure hostage if you, an allie, and an opponent is in the same province where a battle occurs.

TheGameBoyGeek - Thanks man. Your explanation of the game is very clear and well put together - you must have put a lot of thought into it. I reckon you'll get a lot of views on this video as there's no concise rules explanations out there as yet (just 90+ minute playthroughs). Our mistake was we played it so that the strongholds were worth 1 force in harvesting and combat, which they're clearly not (other than the Turtle clan). I was the Turtle clan in that game and that one mistake cost me big time, although I came a close second place and enjoyed it immensely. Second play was much more strait forward. It might seem hyperbolic but this is the area control game I've always been after. I'm so pleased with it.

the seasons cards which where not bought are removed after the seasons end. My question is, are the player owned season cards also removed after a season ends? (because they are "next to the board" description of the rules...)

thanks. this means that monsters which where bought in the first round are not available in the second? (because they a gained via season cards?)
@patrik453
5 жыл бұрын
After reading the rules I would disagree. When you acquire a season card you move it from "next to the board" and place it "next to the clan screen". Under the rules on the Train Mandate p16. To me it implies they are unaffected by the Set Season Step(p10) which you remove season cards in Seasonal Setup. And in the same step it says "If there are any Seasons cards left next to the board from the previous Season, discard these cards.". This too implies bought season cards remains in play. Hope this helps you and others!

is resolving battles done after resolving provinces or during the resolving provinces. because he cut to resolving battles at 23:36 without saying if it's done after or during resolving provinces making me confuse.
@santiagodionisio7994

During the war phase, resolving provinces IS the same as reolving battles. One by one, you resolve each province by executing the battle, if that's the case (i.e. if the players involved are not allies)

This or blood rage? Which one's more beginner friendly? None in my group has played board games aside from monopoly before.
@TheGameBoyGeeks

I wouldn't say either are beginner friendly. Either of these would take just Monopoly players into a world that might be too deep. I'd recommend one of these for them to start with - kzitem.info/news/bejne/yZuQp5aNroSjp6w But between the two I'd say blood rage is a little easier to grasp.

You dumbass... nobody's offended, people are merely pointing out that mate was the wrong choice since it hails from South America, not Japan. Morality and virtue play no part in it, nor does being PC. Oo Mate tea was simply not a good choice since it's usage quite literally makes no sense.
