Lol you forgot to mention you have to spend a lot of money on polishing pads that go on the concrete grinder only after you grind the concrete down to aggregate with diamond concrete grinding blades. Then you have to move higher and higher in grit to get the proper polish. Hate to tell y’all but if you said polished concrete ain’t hard or extremely time consuming, you didn’t polish concrete. I saw absolutely no polished concrete in this video btw.

Your a 100% right we go as low as 35 and as high as 800 for the grit and you have make sure your over lapping over at least 25% each old pass with each new pass I do this for a living

No transitional diamonds. That’s literally a grind and seal, not polished concrete. This guy has no idea what he’s talking about. That will maybe last 2 years where polished concrete is a lifetime floor.

@@BoxxerCore you know what he’s trying to say. Yes not everyone can polish concrete plus the cost is expensive if your renting. You need a grinder, diamonds, a proper shop vacuum to pick up dust not your ridgid vacuum, respirators, polish resin pads and they are not cheap most diamonds alone are like 60-80 each you need a whole set every grinder is different but all mines take 9 blades you do the match . you need 30/40 diamonds for your first pass, 60/80 diamonds for your second pass, then depending how shiny you want it’ll vary on what polishing pads you need but most floor on a budget are left at the honin phase so around 200-409 grit and yes those need 9 pads each plus they need velcros to hold the pads. & yes I know some of you tried it at one job and got great result do you think every floor is easy but if you really know about this trade you know the complications in hard concrete and soft concrete.

This is a grind and seal, 100% not a polished finished. Walmart, home depot etc would have fired the contractor if they gave them a grind and seal instead of polished

That’s not polished concrete, that would be a prepared and sealed floor, big box stores have true polished floors, invest into a couple Lavina LX-25s or bigger, get about 7+ years experience, $2000 worth of diamonds and polishing pads, plus a bunch of other stuff then maybe you can do a true polish also
