When you run out, switch to zephyr pro 40 or pro 25. If you wanna start using a rotary buffer, get the super shine zephyr kit. It will change your life. Good video man! Trick gonna look great but it did before lol.

You still have the polished wheels or burned out on cleaning them? How are they holding out and what do you recommend between brushed, chrome or polished?

Am I able to polish American Force aluminum forged ceramic coated wheels? What are my options?
@JUSTINHAWKSMITH

Ceramic coat on polished ain’t my thang. Best thing to do is have them sanded & polished. Cut & colored then just keep them maintained

I had asked if you could put a coat of polish over a ceramic coated wheel. You misunderstood my question. Thanks Roy

Hello everyone, Iv been considering a set of American force wheels, iv heard they are amazing. How often should I put a polish on them? Once a month? Is it OK to use a buff power ball? Or by hand only?
@JUSTINHAWKSMITH
2 жыл бұрын
So using a hand polish on a power ball or by hand on micro fiber if you daily drive the truck I would do them once a week or as often as possible , if you don’t daily drive the truck then about once a month. This will preserve the finish for a long time before having to have them “machine polished” using airway buff wheels & rouge compound (extensive process) so the more you keep them washed and hand polished the longer they will stay super glassy and shiny!! Hope this helps.

I have AF black wheels and have some faint scratching done by a poor detailer. Can this polish be used on black wheels??
@JUSTINHAWKSMITH

I have tried both metal polish & polish for paint before , I would start with paint polish first. If you need something with a little more grit then go to metal polish then finish with paint polish.

Would ceramic spray wax be good for polished wheels?
@sixoh_diesel5662

Yes, they can be ceramic coated too. But if you only have a ceramic spray (like Meg's) then that is good, just doesn't last as long. Not sure why Justin didn't ceramic coat them like he did with the truck.

I am too anal about having them clean and polishing them before shows. Just like to keep them hand polished man. I don’t like ceramic coat on them honestly

Very nice job! I am learning (slowly) about polishing these wheels and you have helped with new products to try and especially the technique. The one question I have - do you wash the microfiber cloths you use and if so, do you use a special detergent? I am tempted to toss the rags at this point, but that seems wasteful :)

Yes use Zephyr Pro 50 Eliminator ! Here’s a link zephyrpro40.com/collections/polishes-waxes-cleaners-protectants/products/pro-50-eliminator-water-spot-remover

I thought you meant a cleaner for the wheels , as far as rags I toss them…. I’m wasteful , a lot of people wash them but I didn’t want the woman yelling at me wasn’t sure if they’d destroy a washer lol!!

@@JUSTINHAWKSMITH Yep! That's what I was thinking :) I will just use the least expensive ones from Rag Company. It's a cost of doing business.

I bought forged aluminum American Force wheels, had them ceramic coated. Less than a year later I've noticed water spots and swirl marks that I cannot remove. I read that 1/2 vinegar to 1/2 warm water will do the trick. Doesn't work for me. What would be my next move?

@JUSTINHAWKSMITH

I think they make some special laundry detergent you can wash them in , of course pre wash them in a sink first then use the special soap. I think zephyr makes it called microfiber wash soap or something. Maybe it’s chemical guys. It may stain it but if it’s clean definitley reusable after a wash
