I find it hard to transfer from the living room to the ocean. The final impulse before bringing the feet on the board is hard to "feel" or assess mentally. Do you push on your knees because you have to bring your hips up? On a short board it seems like the only thing to do. But I struggled on messy waves to pop up fast and with a pushing impulse. I think I have to focus on the final stage and on looking forward and not downward. Thanks for your help!
