Thank you for calling out “the dog minds me” behaviour. The standard of a good dog from your neighbours perspective is what got my family to step up and be better dog owners. A dog that’s only good for dad is no different than the kid who’s only good in front of the teacher. Not actually a good dog. Keep up the amazing vids Stonnie!

Dogs call us out on our lack of consistency and specifically a disciplined schedule of walking a few miles is good for my own health. Getting a dog was good for sanity and learn to take breaks.

Yes dogs force structure into a home office day. It is easy to get absorbed in online office life but with a baby and a dog you need structure 😅

This was a great video idea, Stonnie. You’ve definitely got a way with mixing dog training with advice and real world advice. Question: Other than what we normally see on your small challenges and adventure courses, do you do sometimes need to do specific training for the basic commands you use?

Sure. The small challenges course is just an easy place to video

After recently losing Eli 😢, I rescued Alice from the pound. Perhaps a series on rescue dogs. She is very skittish and has left me a morning mess even though I take her out at night. She doesn’t like the 20x24 pen. I think she will eventually be a good dog, I’m challenged right now though

Stonnie has some top-shelf help there today, and a puppy in need of honing its proprioception just a tad. Good dog though. And "cameraman" silently screaming "I've been validated!" And Stonnie's being trained to reward on command. Careful Stonnie, don't let 'em roll that training over to opening that wallet everything they think they've done something right. LOL

This is a great idea to get the puppy used to being around a stroller or baby when a neighbor or relative has a baby. Many of us don't have little kids, but they are in our social circle. I will use this idea with my puppy. He gets jealous of any animal that I play with now. The kids he sees play with and make over him. I was beginning to wonder how he would react when the neighbor has her baby. Perfect timing for training, as usual. You are a wizard. Thank you.
