There is no right or wrong in acting, only more or less effective. Effective at telling the story the writer gave you. Effective at fitting the style of the show. Effective at bringing the richness of your ideas and emotional life to your character. With every choice that you explore you should be asking yourself, "Does this fire me up? Does this make me feel more? Does it fit the story?" That's how you move towards the most effective work that you can do.
