What about taxes though? Feel like nobody talks about them when calculating profits

I use the rule of thumb: (production cost + shipping to you) multiplied by 3 is the absolute minimum price tag. Just for fast brainstorming. But afterwards you should consider all costs mentioned by Gretta. Thank you for this video

Thanks for talking about this because ppl have no idea that all these different types of costs exist, especially if a person is new to e-commerce. Knowing how to price products is important.

Is there a tool for all of this calculation? Also, is it mostly products that “solve a problem” that you’ve seen succeed long term?

It's incredibly hard to market something that doesn't solve a problem. The only products that succeed without solving a problem are fashion brands. But in a way they still solve the problem of social acceptance and admiration.

@@mrditkovich7213 any ideas? Haha I am lost. Seems like everyone has already conquered all those products that solve a problem. 😣

@@kaycali4912 I can not find 1 person without a problem or itch. Solutions are all over the place, but there are still a lot of people with desires, itches, problems. Ask yourself: what do people want? What are they willing to pay for without hesitation if you offer it?

@@KlaasVictor touché. I don’t know how to reinvent the wheel so it would need to be something that already exists, but with the great resignation, I feel like everyone is now selling products and starting a business. It’s very saturated. 😓

@@kaycali4912 yes, the easiest to start and gain experience is to model something that already exists and sells like hot cupcakes. But, you offer it with your own personal twist. As a starter, everything is indeed very saturated. But once you get better at entrepreneurship and get skilled at various things, you will notice that standing out becomes easier and easier. In entrepreneurship, difficulty goes from hard to easy. Just start. Making an extra effort during a few months or even years will change your life forever. Learn a lot, fail things and succeed in others. Make a promise to yourself to never stop whatever happens. Good luck! 👍😄
