Mine didn't germinate but to be fair, the seeds were old. You've had great success there with yours. I bought some from the garden centre yesterday as I really like them. Have you been busy in your garden making the most of the good weather? I was up really early this morning and haven't stopped. I've been planting up containers and hanging baskets but a F/book group that I belong to said it's best to wait for another week. I'm always chomping at the bit to get going! Gutted to find that something's been eating my Calibrachoas which were in my little grow house. I've also lost so many Sunflower seedlings too this year. I think it's mice as I've seen a couple scurrying away when I've been doing my watering. I normally have loads of Sunflowers especially the dwarf ones (Little Leo and Little Dorrit) as I always put some in pots for my dad and my brother. They will be sacking me as the Tulips weren't too successful either this year. Hope it stays nice for tomorrow especially as you both work all week and the weekends are precious. All the best. xxx

That's a shame Wendy, but at least you've bought some to replace them. We've been the same with the calendula seeds. Not much germination so I've sown some more. We've had so many plants so far eaten by the slugs that we've taken some out and potted them up. I'm even doing daily rounds at night to catch them and move them to the nearby field. The neighbours must wonder what I'm doing with a torch at that time of night! We always wait until the very end of May before planting out tender plants just in case but I know a lot of people who have already done their bedding containers already. We had a lovely weekend but have been busy visiting friends so only had Sunday morning in the garden. It's been so nice and warm. Hope you enjoyed it too while it lasted. Back to rain and cloud this week. Take care Wendy.

I love growing from seed 🌱 I’ve only done very few this year due to ill health but i had to do just one small tray of mixed seedlings, rudbeckia marigold and callandula unfortunately only 1 snap dragon took so I’m going to do the same tray with just snap dragon once the tray is empty which won’t be long only 2 left to be potted on I enjoy your gardening videos

Sorry to hear you've not been too well. Growing from seed is very satisfying, especially when you see the plants maturing and flowering. You have a good mix of seedlings and there's still time to sow snapdragons and it means they can go straight out now the weather is getting warmer. Thanks for watching and hope you feel better soon. 😊

I have some which have overwintered from a garden centre plant but they are quite weak looking can you give me any tips for more healthy growth.

If they look like they need reporting, I would do that with some fresh compost. Otherwise just try giving them a feed with a balanced fertiliser. They should perk them up hopefully.

@@perennial-garden I try and limit our seed sowing but there's an urge in us gardeners to grow plants and we never think of where they will go afterwards 🤣
