I actually spray it with alcohol after the wash, just in case any floaters are on there, I don’t have to drain the alcohol as frequent and sometimes I’ll lightly brush it with a soft toothbrush.

When you remove the plate from the printer you can see that you're dripping resin on the desk below, you could just scrape it into the vat while the plate is still fixed, saves on the cleanup later. Also, everyone else seems to seems to advise against the use of the metal scraper, as that can scratch the built plate. A plastic or silicone scraper works just as good and doesn't leave marks.

Etch pattern isnt important, just a light sanding with 320 grit will do. Hot water works better than a heat gun since hot water can get to where the supports hit the print, making it easier to peel off as opposed to the mess the guy in the video made. And finally. UV resins arent recyclable. Just throw it away, or save it to reuse for soemthing else.

I have a big wash and cure box and I dip the entire thing along with the build plate in it - why, it’s about 100% cleaner to work with, I don’t even need gloves, after it’s washed I spray clean alcohol on it, for the residual resin.. I abosultely hate working with resin all over the place, the gloves dealing with drips.. that’s why I gave up a bit on resin printing - cleaning the entire build plate and the print every time makes it soo much cleaner to use,. i sort of cringe al looking at him pulling everything apart while it’s still slimy with resin.. I hate that part, you always drip it on something and I always end up with resin on my hands.. I’d rather buy more Ipa and filter it more than deal with oily resin drips all over the place.. I want it clean and neat

@splitt3r

You can use it until it gets really nasty, what I do is pre-wash in a plastic container, I swish it around in there, then spray with clean alcohol and let it drip into the pre wash, then it goes into my wash station. Since I've removed like 95% of the resin beforehand the gallon of IPA in my wash station is good for like 50-100 minis, then when that gets dirty I use it for pre wash and refill it with clean alcohol

Straight up lie, you can't recycle the left overs, not going to do you any good to make blatant lies in videos my guy, also, everyone use denatured alcohol instead of IPA, it works a lot better, you'll find it listed as "camping fuel" in any general store like Walmart. IPA makes the resin prints almost always sticky.
