Very useful, big guy. Greetings from another big guy! 😋🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽Bought a 9 feet foamy for starters when I took 5 lessons on a 10 footer foamy. Next was an 8 feet foamy. Quite thinner and shorter so the 9 footer wiggled a lot more. When I got used to the 9 footer, the 8 footer wasn't any trouble at all! Next was a 7'6 foamy. Worked pretty well too for me, but only in clean conditions, 1 meter waves and only after 1 hour before I got to feel the planing sweet spot. God I love second hand boards. Next was a 8'4 bic magnum undistructable board I just bought, surfed it 1 session. Think it suits me, about 6 feet and 95 kg's, pretty well here in Holland. Stable, forgiving nose rocker and seems pretty good ridible in the small mushy waves we have here, when there are even waves. But still need to surf it in better and worse conditons before the final verdict. All the boards I have ridden confirm your detailed vlogs about shape, waves and not to forget riders dimensions and confirm what my surf instructor told me. Wisdom comes with experience. So I try to paddle out once a week nomatter the conditons except for too much on shore winds. I just put in the work to progress. Which might go a bit slow, but I'm determined and just surf 8 months now at 43 years. Love the slow progress too somehow. Quite rewarding. It's hard to notice progress in just standing, popping up etc. But on the other hand learning every session so much about the boards, tides, waves and timing and that's rewarding if you are able to open up to that. Cheers bro u hang in there, thanks from another big guy! 😎🤜🏼🤛🏽

Thanks. I'm glad you like the content. I can definitely be tough for us big guys if we're learning on the wrong equipment. It sounds like you're really dedicated and progressing well. Keep at it.

@@BigGuyBoardsSurfshop Will keep working my arse off. But there's still the need to experience epoxy boards. The Bic magnum is the closest thing near that stuff I surfed, so I keep watching vlogs about boards and progressing my abilities. Prolly this year will rent some performance orientated boards to feel what they are about. Next thing is a new second hand performance epoxy I guess...😁🤙🏽
