Thank you! I bought a fridge over freezer 36" unit with the faux cabinet inserts for a song. The only problem I am experiencing is the right front wheel rod somehow became dislodged from the inner side, so I'll have to wedge that corner up in order to fix the wheel......or, as I think it through, I will first try to elevate the rear wheels and the front right leveling foot..... perhaps that'll be adequate for me to rectify the dislodged wheel "axle"

Thanks for the video. I have a 700 series that I want to move sideways. It's built in, or surrounded by cabinetry panels as a standalone at least (nothing adjacent to it). I'm assuming I'll have to disassemble the cabinetry panels and then push it, but how is the question! What does this mean: "700 series (no wheels use hardboard)"? Thank you!

I raised the front feet all the way up but the sides of the roller assembly were still on the ground, which would scrape badly. Really need to pull it out to straighten the condensor fins. Any ideas on what to do if my front wheels are too shallow?
@subzerorepair

Yah… so you should just shimmy it out a little bit, you have to slip Masonite or hardboard under the front leg assemblies and just pull the sucker out, the Masonite will protect the floor.

@@subzerorepair I could try that, probably my best bet. Alternatively if you are aware of any good rollers for this application I'd be interested if you have experience with such products

I work for a restoration company and we have to move sub-zeros out during repair process and re-install. We were told the freezer must stay plugged in or the circuit board would be damaged if not properly defrosted. Is that true and if so, what is the process required to defrost prior to our removing it?

Non sense on the circuit board… I would however keep it running these units do not like to sit, they get moldy and musky. so if they move it somewhere else just get an extension cord and plug it in. If that’s not an option keep the doors propped open to air out.

Yes. Unfortunately. Best bet is to protect floor with Masonite and pull.

I'm removing a subzero that is much older.. like 1983. No wheels as shown here and it's heavy as a mountain. It's so old and heavy it has sunk into the wood floor, damaging the subfloor. Any tips?
@subzerorepair

You need to pull it forward a little bit, get it onto Masonite or hardboard and pull from the installation. The hardboard will protect your floors.

@@subzerorepair Thanks for the reply. I ended up having to use a crowbar to create some movement and start to walk it out of its space. It was wedged in there with 40 years of caulk, grout, moving floors, new counter tops, and a very tight cabinet install on both sides of it. But I did end up getting it out, one half inch at a time. Now I have to get rid of it somehow...
