Thank you very much for the hack! We've been irritated all the time, about 6 months, for the loud beeping. And now it's fixed!

Great video. I took mine apart because it just stopped working in the middle of cooking, no power at all. It turned out to be the safety switch on the top of the opening where you slide the tray in. It was all gummed up with grease. I sprayed some deoxit in the switch and clicked it about 20 times and that cleaned the contacts and it started working again. I ran across your video while looking for the fix for mine so I taped the speaker while I was in there. THANK YOU! I hated that beep. WAY too loud.

pretty ridiculous how fragile the front top edge is. I used a plastic to pry open the top lid and it caused minor scuff marks. When trying to polish the away with a regular kitchen towel, it appeared that one made its own damage, making it even worse. It's pretty sad that it is one of the first quality remarks I have to make on this device, after avoiding Philips. Advise for those who are sensitive to such matters as I am: first cover the top edge of the front (top edge of the display) with some electrical tape, before prying. The lid sits quite firmly. Besides that, the cause of this shitty experience is a ridiculously loud beeper. I hope this Cosori machine will make me happier than this, because this is a shitty start.

I mean its not suppose to be tampered to begin with so obviously its gonna scratch. should have just used a flat head to pry it up instead of some flimsy plastic
