This is the most real valorant video on KZitem. Legit I got 6000 hours in csgo and I have those skills down, but I definitely fall Short on the game sense and awareness aspect with this game having so much more to think about. I think rewatching my own game play is definitely a wise move

Summary of the video: Gamesense + Mechanics -Positioning and Strafing -Gamesense between 0.25-0.40 800DPI -Bunnyhop and silent bunnyhop up ramps (hold shift while bunny hopping) -Silent jump (while crouching u jump and as soon as u jumped u let go of crouch) -If u have a small mousepad get a bigger one -Think why you died and think how to improve -Think strategies that ur team can play if it dosnt work then you know what works and what dosnt (trial and error) -Always have a plan when ur taking a position, Look at the agents in the team and think of the ways they will push you, think what you will do when you will get flashed or tagged with a sova drone? -Be ready to retake, when the enemy is 5 man pushing you go to ur team and retake with ur team (better chance of winning if u actually communicate with ur team) , the most usless way of dying is solo on site. -CROSSFIRE or peak of contact (2 teamates in different postions but looking at the same direction/angle) -Angle perception (play a bit farther back whenever ur at a angle) -Peaking and Unpeaking (never hold angles static, always A+D) -Off Angles (enemy has less map control and do this if fewer enemys) -Delay the Defuse (sova ult, viper lineups, brims ult, killjoy swampgernades, kayos gernade, etc) Teamates: -Team Callouts -Team stratgies (not too complicated, dont just follow ur teamates brainl -enemy info (enemy location, agent name, damage, ultimates, wepon, positions they do every round behavior like flanking every round) -positivity (compliments, postive comments) Mentality: -Drop ur ego ("im the best in my rank i should be diamond, these teamates are so trash") -Long Term improvement (try to focus on improving and not that much on winning) -Learn from mistakes each round --Actively think while playing dont think like an idiot or mindlessly play -EVERY game is winnable (dont lose hope or throw the game just becuase ur losing or with bad teamates) -Less games more wins (dont queue game after games when ur mad and on a losing streak, take a break or play the next day) -Play when u feel like u would win Daily Routine: -30mins to warm up, practice in the range ur aim ur flicks etc for 5-10mins, 15-20mins playing deathmatches to practice aim and one taps -Play 3-4 competitive matches every day

After this video I hopped into the range and started practicing a little bit, after that I joined a few deathmatches and in the beginning it was hard to shake the idea that I'm there to practice, not win. But after my first game, I changed my mentality to not try too hard, and just focus on practicing my weakness. After that, I won the second deathmatch without even trying. My mentality also immediately changed too. I usually get very upset or mad when I'm getting killed repeatedly or losing, but after watching this video I'm not as upset anymore, I don't get too mad because I'm reminding myself that it's just practice, it's just for fun. Thank you for this video Sero.

This is so true. I admit that I have a very very high ego and I kept on blaming my teammates for every rounds that we were losing. I changed my habits and my outlook in the game, I ranked up from silver 3 to plat 1 within 2 weeks remaining in the current act, then I kept on pushing forward, moved on for every loss and viewed it as a learning process and my rank is now plat 3 on my alt account and diamond 2 on my main. I still get tilted and sometimes I blame my teammates but what I don't do before which I am now doing is that I compliment my teammates on their efforts and accept whatever criticisms they gave. For example, we have a duelist that is not able to get kills but is doing their job which is making space, doing entries, damaging the enemy's hp while at the same time being supported with info, smokes and etc; I do tell those folks that kills doesn't mean that they are bad in the game or they are having a bad game and I pin point those areas which they are already good at and tell them to wait for us to trade or double peek with them so they don't die next time, majority of those games that had this kind of scenario is that we win those games. I also like what you said in this video. Our current rank does not identify or define our strengths. It defines our weaknesses which are the areas that we need to improve at.

The part that has helped me the most so far is literally not queueing a thousand games a day! Thank you!!!! Got to GC2 in RL literally by queueing a few a day getting my mmr, and getting tf out of solo queue lol. The chaos of Valorant had me totally forget this !! I find that most people tell new players “you just have to keep queuing ranked games for more experience” or, just play as many games as you can you’ll get better. I feel like that’s an easy way to get burnt out and not enjoy because it’s easy to get a toxic match here and there. Thanks again! Lol

If you want to improve, the best player to watch is Yay, regardless of what role you play. Him dropping 30 per game is not important. It's the fact that he is so disciplined in his crosshair placement. People like Asuna, Sinatraa, PRX Jingg, TenZ are people that no one can really replicate because they are thinking about things we don't know, so watching them is usually for entertainment.

I will not lie I stopped playing for 2 acts and now that I'm back I dropped to plat 3 from asc 2 and I have just noticed recently cuz I mainly duo's with a friend we were both decent mechanically, I had the good mental and he had good gamesense and positioning. I have realised that my gamesense is growing, as in I have positioned myself better and knowing rotations as I have called out what enemies will do before it happens. This has been seen by my friends as i have become a fantastic fade main since i can control all of the info, i can position better around the info i am taking away from the enemies. I stumbled on this video and it has opened my eyes that I am improving the side of the ladder that is my weakness, and it has shown me that my current winstreak taking me almost to d2 is because I have been improving and bot just mindlessly playing the game. back here again after dropping another rank to realize i was only doing 1-2 of these things. actually taking notes this time and have figured out most of the base line plan for my road to immortal. I already have a friend in immortal who’s my duo (not for my current games on my main) who i’ll be trying to vod my videos with so i can get an unbiased opinion of someone who is at the skill level i’m currently trying to reach. Also gonna rewatch all your videos I saved for a slight refresher then each week will be dedicated to specifically working on what mechanic i and others see im currently struggling with the most
