I love drawing and back in the 90s been a teenager working at this place, I was asked to count parking spaces in this parking lot. Just a plain drawing is what I was asked to do. I remembered seeing engineers carry blueprints, I thought about doing a blueprint. I walked around the parking lot, count the feet square area in this parking lot, I converted those feet into centimeters to create a blueprint of my own. It came out good, my manager asked me who did it, I told her just me. She was impressed, unfortunately no credits was given to me, I felt the call to become an engineer, but I couldn't afford to go to college. Seeing your work I can read your blueprints, because I can draw. It's impressive what you guys do, thank you for sharing your video it was fun 👍😸

Very nice video. I’d be curious of your depiction of the footers and foundation layouts. Pre-cast, poured, block etc.

What software do you use to make the drawings? I know how to use a bunch of them, but I'm not sure which one is better for an architectural drawing.

A video of this nature should be done on landscape mode, not vertical. Not bad though. Architect should never combine electrical and the dimensioned floor plans. Very confusing for the builder/client and it's just plain lazy. We actually do a separate plan JUST showing dimensions only. I figure you are trying to save money on prints and squeezing as much info as possible on one sheet. . .
