@@henrytears481 You don't need them all in my opinion but I respect your suggestion. I don't have much space right now so I can't own every single Stoic book that is out currently therefore I can only choose certain basics for now. Perhaps I'll throw in 1 modern book at least.

Good idea? Perhaps it's for you. Perhaps not. Problem with the pitch here, the animator portrays Marcus Aurelius as more a statue than a living breathing human being. His meditations provide a route to becoming more human and more humane. Thus we shouldn't imagine him as statue-like--immobile, on a pedestal, or like the Commendatore in Don Giovanni, a statue come (half) to life. Instead, he should use your imagination to see him as a man of flesh and blood, of strengths and weaknesses, of insights and blind spots (not so nice when it came to throwing people to the lions). Like him for his ideals.

It is not the greatest book ever written, it's almost not even a book, it's a diary that repeats the same problems over and over again. Aurelius would be rolling his eyes. It's an important artifact of history.

Well, AI is trained on a given dataset, so it will only recite what was already written out, and at best "mix" things up which people think is "new and created by the AI". Therefore Ideas generated by AI may look new but in the core nothing really new will come up other than by humans
