My favourite Beatles and Paul McCartney song by far, thanks! His version on Parkinson was really good, just him and the piano. And in rehearsals he played it differently. He knows it so well yet makes it unique each time. Legend!!!

This is a very good tutorial and your chords are right on. I would simply be carfull when naming them. Since the tonality is Eb, the notes are Eb, F, G, Ab, Bb, C and D. it feels weird to ear you say D# and G#. they have the same "sound" as Eb and Ab but when making a tutorial, why not teach the real harmony. Good job for the song anyway.

You’re a fantastic teacher. Sometimes you could help even more by pointing out the small transitions from chord to chord - eg. at 08:40 the right hand transition is made by merely sliding forward on the keyboard and moving the thumb from the F to the D#, easy and smooth. There are few of these small and easy transitions.

Greetings from Korea Mr Frudua. I’ve been watching your videos for years. One question: how likely is it for a reasonably talented person to come up with delicate piano skills as Paul? I understand that he put in the ‘10,000 hours’ into guitar and singing while young and having two talented guitar players around him would make it believable for him to become a good guitar player/singer. But for piano, the other two didn’t really play until later years. Do you think he took lessons? I just can’t perceive this could be self taught just by practicing 😮

@@TheBeatlesVocalHarmony Thanks. Hammer action, definitely! I have a Yamaha P85, but find the keys quite clunky. May upgrade to a Casio. Can I just query something, too. You mention G sharp and D sharp notes and chords - but shouldn't they be A flat and E flat? I know it doesn't matter really as it's the same notes/chords. But the song is written in E flat. (Sorry - I'm just being picky! I'm notating it on manuscript paper.) These videos are brilliant. I've learned so much from them about songs I've always wanted to play.

+The Beatles Vocal Harmony What you play is fine but I'm just curious; if you "miss the acoustic piano" and you are playing on an electric keyboard, why don't you use an acoustic piano setting (grand or upright) rather than that terrible harpsichord setting. Man, that is really hard on the ears!
