i came very close to buying a bike with a Brose motor , because at the time it had the highest Nm rating . then i started to read all the horror stories . Fortunately the company added a new motor to their line up which was way more powerful that the Brose . The bike is a NOX from austria with the relatively new motor called Sachs rs . yes it's from the old ice motorcycle company in germany . the motor is a beast , 112 Nms . it destroys my bosch cx on hills. after four years on the market , i haven't heard of any breakdowns , so so far so good. 🤞

What model Nox bike do you have? and what is the weight and size? I try to look at the Enduro 7.1 with Sachs, nice short chainstay, but it looks heavy, and the stupid reviews i have seen in German, all try to be comedian insted of useful information. How do you feel the power delivery vs your Bosch? Another thing is, i start to think for us that didnt buy Brose yet, now maybe can buy it for self service, because all the trouble before have made a market for that.

The power delivery is mostly distributed in the second and third levels , however it apparently can be modified to individual taste. i use the second assist level about eighty percent of the time and the third on steep hills . My bosch is more spread out over all four assist levels . i use the second for most riding and the fourth for steep hills .

you might have a chaffed wire or bad connection between motor and TCU. I would start looking there.
