There's a lot of videos that describe how to disable a VRO2 unit. Here's how to go a step further and completely remove the VRO2 unit and replace it with a fuel pump. Link is below for parts list. You'll have to pre-mix your fuel after disabling or removing the VRO2 unit, but it's worth it in my opinion. You'll have the peace of mind knowing that your outboard is getting the lubricant it needs!
