Thank you for this video!!! I'm so sick of that drop in stove!

Holy shit. Thank you so much for this. My parents are in their 70's and still don't fully understand the power of the internet- but, with harnessing the power of your video, I now have a solution for their old, freshly dead drop-in stove. It can be removed by some friends and I and they can get a none-drop in for the time being. This will save quite a lot of money. Thank you!!

Thank you for the video. For several years I have put off removing my 1983 drop-in stove because I thought it was a chore that needed the hiring of someone else to do it. We can do this!!!! plan to put a table in that spot with individual cooking appliances - dual hot plate, air fryer, toaster oven, crock pot. Eventually, I WILL pay someone to remove the vent thingy and the overhead microwave which doesn't work and I hated anyway because I'm 4'11" and it was hard to take stuff out of it. Thanks.

Thanks for the info. Would be cool to see what you guys did with the rear area to fit a free standing in. Dealing with the tile seems like a pain to keep things looking clean.

Please try this with the camera right side up. Also, what do you do with the cabinets on the side: all new slide in ranges are 30in. wide, the cabinet opening are less.

I wonder if the new stove fit in the hole left by the drop-in stove. Most of the time, its about 1/8 to 1/4" too narrow.

This did not complete the job. Drop in ranges are only about 27" wide and slide in ranges need a minimum of 30" so the cabinets needed to be trimmed. He did not show the competed job. The video was very bad because part of it was side ways.
